Advocates for Psychiatry and People with Mental Illness

The American Psychiatric Association Alliance is a non-profit, non-partisan organization in support of the APA established to bring together diverse individuals with common bonds who lend their strengths, network, and provide resources for advocacy for educating the public toward a positive image of psychiatry.

PURPOSES AND GOALS

• assist the American Psychiatric Association in advocacy and in educating the public toward a positive image of psychiatry
• create, support and implement programs that support the American Psychiatric Association mission
• do any and all things deemed appropriate to accomplish the American Psychiatric Association Alliance
