In Kindergarten, I meet Emily. We became best friends. We always keep each other secrets.

We were friends all through elementary school. She told me about Elizabeth's new sweater that she had spilled the blue paint on. I never told her secret. She told me about the candy she had eaten in the candy shop without paying for first. I never told her secret. She told me about her crush on Jack McNeil. I never told her secret.

We went to middle school together. She told me about cheating on her history test. I never told her secret. She told me about her dad starting to drink alcohol. I never told her secret. She told me about her new boyfriend that she had kissed on the lips. I never told her secret. She told me about smoking her first cigarette in the eighth grade behind the school gym with Jason. I never told her secret.

We went to high school together. We even had some classes together. Old me she had an answer key to the final exam. I never told her secret. She told me that her parents were getting divorced. I never told her secret. She told me that she was really upset and angry because her dad had moved away. I never told her secret. She told me that she had had sex with the captain of the football team. I never told her secret. She told me that he cheated on her. I never told her secret. She told me that she hated her life. I never told her secret. She told me that she was going to end her life. I never told her secret. She died that night, but I never told her secret.

We were going to go to college together. We were going to live in the dorm together. We were going to raise our children together. We were going to die together, but I NEVER TOLD HER SECRET.
